Katarina Guillen MA, RP
Registered Psychotherapist
Hello and welcome!
Life can be tough, especially if you are feeling stuck, alone, stressed, disconnected, burned out, or like something is missing. It takes a great deal of strength and commitment to work on the difficulties you are facing, and you've taken an important step in making a change by looking for support. My goal is to foster understanding and self-exploration, improve communication, clarify your values and goals to work towards meaningful change, and to strengthen your relationship with yourself and others.
I offer individual adult and youth psychotherapy. If you are experiencing anxiety, low mood, self-criticism, high expectations for yourself, self-doubt, relationship dissatisfaction, difficulties with parenting or family dynamics, or if you want to develop emotional insight and regulation skills, I am here to provide guidance and support.
I may also be a good fit if you want to: strengthen your communication skills, shape your life to be more aligned with your values and goals, heal past relational pains, set boundaries and communicate assertively, address perfectionism, manage stress and burnout, explore how to increase self-compassion, or develop emotionally informed parenting skills.
I am committed to creating an environment that feels safe for you to explore the challenges you are facing, and supported to create meaningful change in your life. I also strongly value collaborating with you to meet your therapeutic needs with evidence-based practice and to use an approach that meets your needs. Please feel free to reach out for a free consult.
